This chapter reminds me of the song "Lord You Are More Precious Than Silver"
It exhorts us to have a mindset that cries out for the presence of the Lord and to desire His insight in everything. Treasure the fact that God desires to give us His wisdom. The New Living Translation says in verse seven, "He gives a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity." Wow. Living with integrity matters and He wants to show us His wisdom to react and do things in a way that will bring him Glory. If anyone has ever said that you lack common sense take hope in the fact that the God of the universe offers to give you it in abundance.

Learning more about God's word is so important. I am thankful of all the tools we have to challenge us to grow up in the Lord. Verse 6 tells us that the Lord giveth wisdom and out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Hey, I need this for everyday living at the office, dealing with clients, family and in my home! Father, I thank you for Your Word and when I place Your Wisdom in my heart, I can walk in the path of a good women!
